Privacy Policy — Shehar Seth

Shehar Seth is a board game for iOS, Android and macOS. We designed it to collect as little data as possible.
Playing offline (single player and pass & play)
- Everything stays on your device: your game, settings (currency, graphics, volume, bot speed) and the autosave.
- Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases.
- Your device's region is read only to show prices in your local currency. It never leaves the device.
Playing online
Online play uses our own servers at ss-api.kingrao.dev and ss-game.kingrao.dev. They are hosted by us and not shared with advertisers or analytics companies. To let you play, we store:

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos or advertising ID. We do not sell or share personal data.
Muting a player happens only on your device; nothing is sent to us. Reporting a player sends the report described above.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time. You can also delete your online account in the game under Settings → Delete online account, or by emailing me@naveenrao.com. If you no longer have the game, see https://ss.kingrao.dev/delete-account. We reply within 30 days.
Deleting your online account immediately removes your account ID, nickname, device link and your leaderboard entries. Match records that mention your account ID expire within 24 hours. Reports you made or that were made about you are kept for up to 90 days so abuse can still be handled, then deleted.
The data controller is Naveen Rao, India (developer of Shehar Seth), contact me@naveenrao.com. This policy is written to meet the EU GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and contains no ads or purchases. Online chat can be turned off in Settings, players can be muted, and chat is filtered for common swear words and slurs. We do not knowingly collect more than the data above from anyone.
Security
- Connections use TLS (https/wss).
- Match access uses short-lived signed tickets.
- Servers are kept up to date, and the admin console is protected by a separate, strong login.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and show a notice in the game.
